Spring Break Camp

What are YOU doing for fun on your Spring Break? How ‘bout spend it
with your friends at the Oakbrook Terrace Park District? The week will
include crafts, games, a movie, a fi eld trip, and plenty of time to socialize
with your friends. An activity schedule will be given out when the
program begins. Sign up fast – space is limited!

Annual Spring Drawing contest

Children from Preschool to 5th grades may participate in our Annual Spring Drawing Contest. Prizes will be awarded to the best drawing in each grade level. Drawing forms will be distributed to area public schools and will also be available at the Heritage Center starting Monday, March 3. All completed forms must be returned to the Heritage Center by Thursday, March 20. Winners will be announced the week of March 31st and a Winner’s Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 6pm at the Heritage Center.

Mother's Day Writing Contest

Children from Grades 2 – 8 are invited to participate in our Annual Mother’s Day Writing Contest. Specifi cally, participants will be asked to write an essay entitled, “Why My Mom is the Best Mom in the World.” Prizes will be awarded to the best essay in each grade level. Entry forms will be distributed to area public schools and will also be available at the Heritage Center starting Monday, March 31. All entries must be returned to the Heritage Center by April 18. Winners will be announced the week of April 28 and a Winner’s Ceremony will held on Tuesday, May 6 at 6pm at the Heritage Center.

Co-Ed Youth Soccer

The Oakbrook Terrace, Butterfi eld, Villa Park, and York Center Park Districts have partnered together to offer a Spring Soccer League! Practices will be held once per week and games will be played on Saturdays at various park district locations. Players will be placed on teams based on ability, age and gender in order to create league balance. When registering, please be sure to indicate the days and times you are not able to practice and to register according to your age group. Coaches will contact players beginning the week of March 24. Requests to play with particular players or coaches will not be accepted. Each player must purchase a reversible soccer jersey to be worn during games.
