Live animals

Lake View Nature Center exhibits a variety of small animals, many of which are handleable (with staff assistance). Our focus is on species native to Illinois, but we also have a few domestic or non-native species.

Please note that the Lake View Nature Center is not a rehab center. We do not have the required permits to accept sick or injured wildlife.
