Class meets two Mondays each month, either in the morning (9:30 to 11:00 am) or in the afternoon (12:30 to 2:00 pm).
Wear gym shoes or boots and plan to go outside. (No open toe shoes.)

Explore the world of nature. Each class will focus on a theme from environmental science or natural history. Activities include projects, hikes, experiments, games, and take-home activities. A snack is included.
Class meets once a month on Saturday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Participants must have completed kindergarten.

Environmental Science Investigations is a Saturday afternoon class for kids who enjoy investigating scientific principles, experiments, and hands-on activities.
Participants will learn simple data collection and analysis techniques, and work with equipment used by real scientists to study plants and animals.
Class meets one Saturday a month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Participants should come prepared to go outside and get dirty. (No open toe shoes.)

Fishing is a great way to spend a summer day. Learn basic fishing techniques, fishing ethics, safety issues, and rules and regulations. Receive instruction on baiting a hook, tying knots, casting, and how to handle and return fish to the water. As part of the program participants are provided with rods, reels, and bait for catch-and-release fishing in our stocked lake. All ages are welcome, but children under 14 must be accomanied by an adult.

Have FUN learning about spiders! Create a clay spider, build a web, go on a spider hunt, and much more! Dress to got outside and wear gym shoes (no sandals or crocs).

Bring the family for a night around the campfire. Learn how to make a fire without matches, sing songs, listen to stories (or tell some of your own), make s'mores, and enjoy the glow of a campfire. All ages are welcome, but children under 14 must be accomanied by an adult.
