Caring for Community Critters

Caring for Community Critters at the Lake View Nature Center

Did you know there are animals in our community in need of your support? This summer the Oakbrook Terrace Park District's Nature Center is collecting gently used towels for the Willowbrook Wildlife Center, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organization in the neighboring community of Glen Ellyn. These towels will be used to care for local wildlife, including animals that have been injured.

Are you interested in introducing nature learning to your child? Every other Friday throughout the winter/spring, we have classes for toddlers and preschoolers. Whether it's a morning class with the tiny onesĀ or your preschooler's first drop-off class, the Lake View Nature Center has the program for you!

Programs are available on the following dates: August 2, and August 16. Register at least one week beforeĀ online or in person at one of our facilities.
