Eligible residents of the Oakbrook Terrace Park District interested in running in the April 4, 2023 election for the office of a Park Commissioner of Oakbrook Terrace Park District may obtain nomination petitions and election materials Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Oakbrook Terrace Park District, 1S325 Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181. The first day to begin circulating petitions is September 20, 2022. Candidate petitions will be accepted beginning December 12, 2022 through December 19, 2022 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Five members comprise the Park Board of Commissioners and are elected for six year terms. Three seats are up for election and will be on the ballot for the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election. All candidates must be registered voters and have resided within the Oakbrook Terrace Park District jurisdictional boundaries for one year.
