The Oakbrook Terrace Park District has two open Commissioner positions for the 2017 election cycle taking place April 4th, 2017. Park District Commissioners receive no compensation for their role, and are elected to a six year term. Candidates need to be U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years Old, registered voters and live within the boundaries of Oakbrook Terrace Park District for at least one year prior to running.

The Oakbrook Terrace Park District will be changing the date of its monthly board meeting from Tuesday July 26th to Thursday July 28th
The Oakbrook Terrace Park District notified its staff today of the impending close of its Lake View Nature Center located at 17W063 Hodges Rd in Oakbrook Terrace, on Friday June 3rd. In addition, it will be cancelling its community events for the remainder of the year due to restrictions in their 2016/2017 Budget.

Summer fun starts with Oakbrook Terrace Park District! Weekly field trips, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and pool time fun are just the start of our summer plans. Registration begins April 1st. We can't wait to see you this summer! All registrants will receive a camp shirt. Ages 6-12, 9am-3pm. Five Day & Three Day camp available.
